Hetzer German Tank Destroyer: “Hetzer”, means “Bear Baiter”. A bear baiter is someone who torments a caged bear to make it fierce for animal fights that are gambled on. The WWII German Hetzer was hoped to be a cost effective German tank destroyer for use against the Allied tank armies that were pouring into Germany late in WWII. This model was sold to a private collector.
M4A1 Sherman tank: This is an unpainted consignment M4A1 Sherman tank that was specifically built for a private collector. It was eventually painted, detailed, and sold.
Supermarine Seafire FB.Mk. XV: The Seafire was a Griffon engine navalized Supermarine Spitfire that the British Royal Navy used for training purposes during and after WWII. This model was sold to a private collector.
Royal Tank Corps. “Valentine”: This WWII British tank was used by the British Tank Corps in North Africa against the German and Italians. The Valentine had good speed, mobility, and reliability but poor armor and armament. This model was assembled with individual link metal tracks similiar in appearance to real tracks on a real tank. It was sold to a private collector.
DeHavilland SeaHornet NF.Mk.21: This is a British post WWII Royal Navy nightfighter. The Sea Hornet was the successor to the British Royal Air Force WWII DeHavilland Mosquito. The Sea Hornet NF.Mk.21 was navalized for operation from the aircraft carriers. It was very sucessful, but was eventually replaced by more capable jet aircraft late in the 1950’s. This model was sold to a private collector.
